Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to the veterinary care team assisting with care of both healthy and ill animals.
• Conduct venipuncture and assist during surgical, dental procedures, and physical exams.
• Collaborate with pet owners to ensure excellent service and care experiences.
• Utilize and expand your clinical skills in a technology-enhanced environment.
• Operate within a cooperative team setting that values strengths-based staffing.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of three years practical experience in veterinary clinical care.
• Available to work exclusively on weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Proficient and comfortable with venipuncture and assisting in surgery and dental work.
• A strong advocate of Fear-Free, force-free, and low-stress animal handling methods.
• Tech-savvy, adaptable, and able to excel in a dynamic weekend workload.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities with a collaborative work approach.
• Dedicated to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Genuine passion for working with animals and their human companions.
