About the Program
Our Acceleration Program in California focuses on empowering startups at two vital phases: pre-MVP (idea stage) where founders seek validation, product advice, and early operational help, and post-MVP stage, catering to startups with initial traction aiming to polish their product, scale, and fundraise. This initiative is committed to nurturing several startup cohorts in the US innovation hub through a founder-friendly platform.
Role Overview
The Venture Partner plays a pivotal role in driving success for founders, offering hands-on support to startups from conception through scaling. This position demands a passion for early-stage ventures and a founder-centric approach, combined with mentoring skills and strong connections throughout California’s competitive tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentoring founders in idea development, MVP creation, and achieving early traction.
- Working alongside accelerator leadership to craft and deliver effective cohort programs.
- Helping founders prepare for fundraising by supporting pitch deck creation, capitalization tables, and strategy formulation.
- Utilizing extensive local networks to link startups with investors, advisors, and corporate collaborators.
- Representing the program within the California startup community to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Overseeing multiple startup cohorts to ensure personalized and impactful guidance for each founder.
Qualifications
- Background in venture capital, startup acceleration, or key leadership roles centered on founders.
- Deep knowledge of early startup phases including validation, MVP development, and financing.
- Proven ability to mentor diverse technology sector founders.
- Strong connections within California’s investment and startup ecosystems.
- Excellent leadership, communication skills, and a founder-first attitude.
