Venture Capital Analyst

Role overview

This position supports early-stage and growth-stage investment work by researching opportunities, assessing startup quality, and tracking portfolio companies. The analyst helps the team identify promising businesses, understand market direction, and turn complex information into clear investment insights.

What you will do

• Research markets, sectors, and emerging trends to spot disruptive technologies and scalable business ideas.
• Review startups by examining their business models, product-market fit, competitive position, customer traction, and growth outlook.
• Carry out financial analysis and due diligence, including checks on financial statements, revenue structures, unit economics, valuation, and operating performance.
• Contribute to investment memos, presentations, and internal reports that support investment decisions.
• Help source deals by monitoring startup ecosystems, following industry updates, attending relevant events, and tracking new opportunities.
• Organize and maintain deal flow pipelines for review by senior investment professionals.
• Support portfolio monitoring by tracking performance, milestone progress, and possible risks or upside in existing investments.
• Work with investment teams, founders, and other stakeholders to ensure information is accurate, timely, and useful.

• Comfort with analyzing company metrics, trends, and performance indicators is required.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet-based analysis is needed.
• Strong accuracy, communication, and organizational discipline are essential.
• You should be able to manage several research tasks and deadlines at once.
• The role calls for adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-moving investment setting.
