Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Valeter to join the Motorstore/Geely branch located in Chertsey. This position involves ensuring all vehicles are impeccably cleaned and presented at a high standard.

Working Hours

Full-time schedule includes Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and alternate Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning vehicles both sold and in stock to a very high standard
• Operated high-powered pressure washers for external cleaning
• Use of high-powered vacuum cleaners and shampoo equipment for interior cleaning
• Buffing and polishing vehicle exteriors using specialized machinery
• Adhering strictly to health and safety rules, especially when handling chemicals
• Maintaining and securing all equipment and machinery; reporting defects promptly
• Meeting set timelines and productivity targets
• Managing vehicle schedules through an online diary system
• Keeping daily records of work performed
• Perform other duties supporting branch operations as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a full UK driving licence
• Basic computer proficiency
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-driven with strong teamwork skills
• Capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Openness to participate in training programs

Previous valet experience is advantageous but not mandatory as comprehensive training, including attendance at the Arnold Clark Valet Academy, will be provided for enthusiastic candidates who meet other criteria.
