UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Scriptover is an AI-driven platform designed to assist veterinarians by automating documentation, enhancing diagnostics, and optimizing workflow processes. We seek a skilled UX/UI Designer who deeply comprehends user journeys and can translate complex artificial intelligence functions into straightforward, engaging user experiences. This permanent, full-time position supports remote work globally and offers an opportunity to impact veterinary healthcare technology significantly.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft intuitive, visually appealing, and adaptable interfaces optimized for web and mobile applications.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flow diagrams using Figma to clearly convey design ideas.
• Ensure excellent usability and responsive performance by considering mobile device constraints and layout challenges.
• Work closely with software engineers and product teams to guarantee accurate execution of designs.
• Lead user research and usability testing to detect issues and enhance user experience.
• Analyze complete user journeys to find obstacles and devise solutions that boost engagement and conversion rates.
• Assist in creating and maintaining Scriptover's design system to ensure consistent visual aesthetics across products.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in Figma with demonstrated capabilities in wireframing, mockup creation, and fast prototyping.
• Meticulous attention to detail with proficiency in designing pixel-perfect and responsive interfaces.
• Deep knowledge of UX design principles, including accessibility standards and interaction design.
• Experience designing for diverse screen sizes, along with a solid understanding of mobile performance limitations and compromises.
• Proven ability to conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iteratively refine designs.
• Capability to creatively solve problems while considering engineering constraints and collaborating effectively with developers.
• Empathy towards users and an awareness of how thoughtful design enhances workflow and usability.
