About the Role

We are looking for a User Interface Designer to join a dynamic digital venture studio focused on creating polished, modern, and conversion-optimized landing pages aimed at English-speaking markets. This position prioritizes mobile-first design, responsive desktop layouts, and emphasizes accessibility alongside clear typography. The goal is to produce calm, credible visuals that steer clear of typical startup clichés and generic gradients.

Responsibilities

Design landing pages optimized for mobile-first usage and responsive across desktop devices, specifically tailored for English-speaking users.
Implement clear and accessible typography and establish a strong visual hierarchy that enhances user trust and improves conversion rates.
Create calm, contemporary, and trustworthy visual designs that avoid common startup design tropes or overused trends.
Organize and structure Figma design files to ensure smooth collaboration and handoff to developers.
Work closely with comprehensive briefs, finalized copy, and visual direction to guarantee design cohesion.
Develop two distinct hero section variants for A/B testing as part of a paid test task.
Communicate the reasoning behind design choices and be willing to refine designs based on feedback.
Optionally contribute to landing page development, especially if experienced with Next.js and Vercel platforms.

Skills and Requirements

Demonstrable experience in designing landing pages targeted at English-language or Western markets.
A robust portfolio showcasing mobile-first and responsive web design expertise.
Proficiency with Figma, including best practices in file organization for development collaboration.
Strong understanding of accessibility standards, user experience principles, and techniques to optimize conversions.
Ability to produce trustworthy, calm, and modern visual designs.
Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
Familiarity with Next.js and Vercel is advantageous but not mandatory.
Willingness to undertake a paid design test assignment and possibility of subsequent ongoing collaboration.
Capacity to provide realistic timelines and clarify whether services include design only or both design and development.

Additional Information

The selection process includes a paid test project where candidates design a one-page mobile app landing page featuring two hero variants for A/B testing. Success in this task may result in a permanent position involving a steady stream of design assignments.
