Job Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle to maintain safety and security.
• Oversee surveillance equipment and alarm systems to detect any unusual activity.
• Manage building access by verifying IDs and issuing visitor badges.
• Identify and report any suspicious behavior or security incidents promptly.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies including medical issues, fire alarms, or disruptions.
• Prepare comprehensive daily activity and incident reports.
• Ensure enforcement of organizational policies, rules, and regulations.
• Assist visitors and staff by providing information and directions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when the situation demands.
• Work conditions may include indoor and outdoor environments, facing various weather conditions.
• Shifts may be flexible, covering nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Position may require standing or walking for long durations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid security guard license as per state or local regulations.
• Prior experience in security preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent observation and communication abilities.
• Capability to maintain composure and professionalism under stressful circumstances.
• Fundamental understanding of security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Physical ability to stand or walk for extended time periods.
