UI/UX Designer Intern

Job Overview

Join Shopee as a UI/UX Designer Intern where you will work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to ideate and prototype user-centered interface solutions for our web platform. You will ensure that digital outputs meet the platform's design standards, are user-friendly, compliant, and support smooth development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively across teams to conceptualise and develop UI/UX designs from the end-user perspective.
• Adhere to design principles and guidelines to deliver professional and usable digital interfaces.
• Create design solutions that incorporate functional, logical, and interactive insights to enhance user experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university or polytechnic program, ideally majoring in Design (such as Interaction, Graphic, Visual Communication, Product, Industrial Design), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Systems (IS), Computer Science (CS), or related diploma or degree courses.
• Possess a solid grasp of e-Commerce and business design concepts.
• Demonstrate proficiency in at least two leading design and collaboration software tools, for instance, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Experience Design, Adobe Photoshop, inVisionApp, Flinto, among others.
• Quick learner with the agility to adopt new concepts and skills.

• Preference given to candidates available for a full-time internship lasting 3 to 6 months.
