About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our team on a contract basis, working remotely with flexible hours ranging from 10 to 40 per week. The role involves developing precise and visually consistent UI components that align with existing style guides and design systems.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret component style guides and interface mockups to create accurate, pixel-perfect user interfaces.
Develop responsive web components utilizing modern technologies such as Typescript and CSS3.
Maintain adherence to established design systems and ensure accessibility standards are met.
Collaborate effectively in a remote-first environment through clear documentation and constructive asynchronous communication.
Identify and address ambiguities or inconsistencies found within design specifications proactively.
Enhance user interface performance focusing on fast load times and smooth user interactions across devices.

Candidate Requirements

Substantial experience in frontend development with demonstrable success in similar roles.
Proficient with Typescript, CSS3, and responsive web design best practices.
Experienced in creating pixel-perfect UI layouts from detailed visual instructions.
Familiar with working on and extending component-based style guides and design systems.
Strong command of English communication skills for effective remote collaboration.

Additional Information

The position offers compensation within the range of $40 to $50 per hour.
The role is fully remote, providing flexibility for work location.
