Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mohali district. The Travel Consultant will guide clients in planning and booking both domestic and international travel encompassing flights, accommodation, ground transportation, and ancillary services. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, suggesting travel plans, preparing detailed itineraries, and managing booking and payment processes via various reservation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with planning and booking travel arrangements covering flights, lodging, and transportation.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide tailored travel advice and itineraries.
- Handle reservations and payment processing through multiple booking platforms accurately.
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure accuracy of travel documents.
- Maintain current knowledge on travel policies, routes, promotional offers, and regulations.
- Coordinate with team members and external partners to deliver efficient, client-centric travel solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in travel consulting and management to support comprehensive trip planning.
- Proficiency in arranging travel bookings and modifying flight, hotel, and related service reservations.
- Strong customer service capabilities for effective communication, expectation management, and issue resolution.
- Familiarity with travel reservation tools such as GDS, online booking platforms, and general computer applications.
- Relevant industry experience, understanding of travel regulations, and strong organizational and time-management skills are advantageous.
- Customer-oriented approach, high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in an onsite team setting.
