Trainee

Overview

This role is designed for individuals such as CA freshers, CA freshers with industrial trainee experience in investments, CAs with 1-2 years of investment domain experience, or semi-qualified CAs possessing 4-5 years of fund accounting experience within the Life Insurance or Mutual Fund sectors. The focus of the role is on the precise and timely accounting and valuation of various investment portfolios.

Key Duties

• Maintain accurate and punctual accounting for debt investments.
• Perform portfolio valuation, and manage the computation and announcement of the Net Asset Value (NAV) for multiple funds.
• Ensure timely and precise settlement of equity trades using the STEADY system, including handling custody and broker confirmations.
• Collaborate efficiently with equity brokers, dealers, and custodians to facilitate trade settlements.
• Monitor and account for corporate actions diligently.
• Guarantee the accurate and prompt accounting and valuation of investments in Alternate Investment Funds.
• Manage settlement, accounting, and valuation processes carefully, adapting to system and asset complexities to maintain accuracy and timeliness.
