About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Program Manager to join our team in Singapore. This role involves overseeing technical programs, ensuring successful project delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in software systems design and development, coupled with excellent program management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the execution of complex technical programs from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Identify and mitigate program risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Facilitate communication and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on program status.
- Drive technical decision-making and provide guidance on system architecture and design.
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 4–7 years of professional experience in systems engineering or programming, or an advanced degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in software systems design tools and various programming languages.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Windows OS and device driver development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of system software architecture and cross-platform integration.
- Expertise in software testing methodologies, including test plan development, debugging, and the use of automation tools.
- Excellent command of the English language; proficiency in Mandarin is considered an asset.
- Proven ability to present technical architectures, negotiate design alternatives, and influence senior leadership.
- Familiarity with bus-level protocols (e.g., USB, PCIe, I2C) and associated debugging techniques is beneficial.
Additional Information
Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
