Role Overview

The position of Technical Product Owner for Logistics Warehouse Management (WM) is part of the Pharm Transcend global transformation initiative, designed to modernize and unify transactional processes into a standardized, streamlined ERP platform. This program aims to consolidate the current seven ERP systems to one, enhancing efficiency, agility, and cost-effectiveness while mitigating end-of-life system risks.

Based preferably in Beerse, Belgium, but with flexibility for other J&J sites including Limerick (Ireland), this role is a vital member of the Pharm Supply Chain Technology team. The incumbent will lead the design and delivery of SAP S/4 capabilities, specifically for warehouse and logistics management, integrating with third-party logistics providers (3PL).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, validation, and delivery of SAP S/4 functionalities aligned with business requirements.
• Oversee scope governance of the SAP S/4 template, driving innovation and enhancements across deployments.
• Develop integration automation solutions between SAP and 3PLs covering logistics movements, warehouse management, inbound/outbound deliveries, returns management, master data, and intercompany logistics flows.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience, including minimum 5 years in SAP Inventory Management/Warehouse Management, preferably with 3PL integration exposure.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of multinational financial and logistics operations, with expertise spanning planning, sourcing, manufacturing, delivery, finance, tax, and master data.
• Deep understanding of SAP ERP logistics modules such as Sales & Distribution, Logistics Execution, and Warehouse Management.
• Strong grasp of business process integration across supply chain and finance functions.
• Experience with pharmaceutical/healthcare industry compliance requirements including SOX and GxP.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA in enterprise environments is preferred.
• Proven capability to work within Agile frameworks and understanding of SDLC methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing cross-functional, self-organized teams promoting collaboration.
• Analytical problem-solving skills, decision-making acumen, and a focus on business agility and iterative delivery.

Benefits and Compensation

The remuneration package varies by location. In Ireland, the salary range is approximately €70,100 to €121,210. Comparable competitive ranges exist for Belgium, Spain, Italy, the UK, and the Netherlands.
