Over the past three years, the company has achieved over 7 million app downloads, more than 2 million monthly active users, collaborated with over 7,000 partner stores, and successfully raised upwards of US$350 million from leading investors.
Joining Salmon means taking ownership from the outset, working in a high-performance environment with direct communication, alongside a team that blends deep local expertise with experience in scaling regulated financial institutions from the ground up. This role is ideal for those passionate about solving complex challenges at scale and influencing how millions access and manage their finances, at a pivotal moment in Southeast Asia's fintech landscape.

These include integrating Apple Pay and Google Pay, launching virtual cards, and managing single-use virtual cards. Your accountability will span from initial business requirements through to production deployment across various stakeholders such as issuers, acquirers, and payment networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and deploy new card functionalities including digital wallet integrations like Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as virtual card solutions.
- Work hands-on in areas encompassing card issuance, processing, e-commerce payments, and security protocols such as 3-D Secure, with a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between issuers, acquirers, and payment infrastructures.
- Manage end-to-end delivery by coordinating engineering teams, QA, internal departments, and external service providers from the initial business request through to live release.
- Design innovative card features and services to support product expansion while streamlining operational procedures.
- Develop and enhance APIs and system integrations, whether building anew or refining existing services.
- Produce thorough, clearly structured technical documentation targeted at developers.
- Oversee integration initiatives with internal groups and external payment partners.
- Assign tasks and manage workflows using tools such as Jira and Confluence and lead the release management process.
- Monitor the performance of services post-launch and take prompt action to address any production incidents.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a Technical Product Manager or System Analyst, preferably within the fintech or banking sectors.
- Practical expertise with payment service systems and a strong grasp of the relationships and functions between card issuers, acquirers, and payment schemes.
- Demonstrated understanding of microservices architecture and system design principles.
- Experience in architecting APIs and system integrations from the ground up.
- Advanced skills in SQL for data interrogation and analysis.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues in live production environments.
