Role overview
Tiong Seng Contractors (Pte) Ltd is hiring a Technical Officer in Singapore for a full-time, on-site role. The position focuses on technical documentation, proposal preparation, authority submissions, and coordination support for construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare technical proposals and method of statement (MOS) documents.
- Draft proposals for consultant review and approval, covering steel structural, architectural, and reinforced concrete structural work.
- Develop technical submissions for authorities, especially for LTA, SBST (MRT), and BCA, linked to the Underground Pedestrian Linkway (UPL) and the underpass connection to China Square.
- Handle other external works in the project’s final stage, including utility/service diversions, drain construction, traffic diversions, and road widening, while coordinating with agencies such as LTA, PUB, NParks, Singtel, Netlink, SPPG, StarHub, and SP Telecom.
- Update and maintain BIM360 records so drawings, correspondence, and authority documentation remain properly tracked and current.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
- A diploma is required.
- At least 3 years of AutoCAD drafting experience is needed.
- At least 3 years of construction experience is required, including exposure to structural steel work and submissions/compliance work with authorities.
