Technical and Logistic Support

Job Overview

This role focuses on enabling the partner's personnel to manage the maintenance and operational support of the BEAM9 system hardware and software in Saudi Arabia, collaborating closely with teams in France and local stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the Customer’s IT Administration team by monitoring daily operations and ensuring communication with the Maintenance team in France and hardware suppliers.
• Assist the Customer’s Production team in GEOINT/IMINT activities and administrative tasks, liaising with the Engineering team in France.
• Deliver support for IT training initiatives and assist in deployment and acceptance stages within KSA.
• Drive continuous improvement by facilitating deployment of software and hardware updates and upgrades.
• Participate in meetings, conferences, and workshops to maintain high service standards and reflect customer expectations.
• Support evolving operational activities by providing updates and gathering requirements.
• Maintain regular reporting and provide updates to the team and program manager.
• Develop and manage KPIs for maintenance and support monitoring.
• Document processes, gather best practices, and consolidate knowledge.
• Foster strong relationships with customers, providers, back-office, and partners.
• Support deployment, lifetime operation, and performance management of all maintenance deliverables.

Requirements

• Master's degree in computer science is mandatory.
• Proven experience in maintenance and support programs.
• Strong communication skills adaptable to multicultural contexts.
• Proficiency with Windows environments: Active Directory, DNS, DFS, Group Policy Objects.
• Experience with operating systems: Ubuntu 24.04, Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, and CentOS Linux.
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms including Nutanix AHV and NKP, Harbor, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with storage technologies such as Ceph.
• Experience with backup solutions, specifically Veeam Backup.
• Additional technical skills: IMINT/GEOINT core trades and geospatial software (I4D, SOCET GXP), hardware (DELL servers, Cisco), antivirus (ESET), firewalls (Stormshield/Opensense), PKI (EJBCA), and Ansible automation.
• Understanding of basic network concepts including IP, DNS, firewall, and routing.
• Database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and analyze them effectively.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Languages: English and Arabic required; French is a plus.
