About the Role
HDFC Bank is hiring a Technical Analyst to work across Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata. The position is intended for professionals with 3 to 12 years of experience and focuses on validating technical feasibility, shaping solution architecture, and ensuring IT considerations are built into delivery from the start.
The role emphasizes cloud-native design, distributed systems, and platforms that can support high availability. It also requires close coordination during requirement study, solution evaluation, project planning, performance validation, and change-management preparation.
Job Purpose
- Review and assess architecture proposals to confirm that the solution is technically workable and that all IT-related aspects are addressed.
- Make sure the proposed solution aligns with the organization’s IT strategy, especially in areas such as cloud-native design, distributed computing, and highly available platforms.
Responsibilities
- Take part in requirement analysis and FSD review to verify technical feasibility and identify all necessary IT considerations.
- Ensure that proper volume estimates are prepared for new solutions so that stress testing can be planned and executed effectively.
- Assess solution options and recommend suitable architecture approaches.
- Contribute to project planning so that sufficient time is allocated for IT work and all change-management needs are covered.
- Analyze system performance and suggest improvements where needed.
- Lead or support performance tuning, stress testing, and optimization efforts.
- Assist with the implementation of distributed databases such as Yugabyte and support data consistency approaches.
