Job Overview

This position involves complete responsibility for procurement activities related to projects and operational sites within the organization. The role requires meticulous management of local project purchases, associated contracts, and adherence to company policies and procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement for projects and operational site purchases.
  • Handle purchasing for local projects and manage contracts linked to projects and operations.

  • Provide purchasing support to other departments and communicate any supply issues impacting project timelines.
  • Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal departments regarding purchasing processes and new project initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive comparative statements and negotiate contracts to achieve improved pricing and favorable business terms.
  • Analyze commercial proposals to meet cost objectives aligned with the business plan.
  • Ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA) guidelines.
  • Close procurement requirements timely with appropriate evaluations.
  • Conduct post-order reviews and track orders to guarantee timely execution.
  • Resolve disputes or claims with suppliers, contractors, or vendors related to purchase orders.
  • Evaluate and develop vendor/supplier relationships, including the introduction of new vendors.
  • Perform spend analysis and assess supplier performance to develop cost optimization and rationalization strategies.
  • Negotiate and manage supply contracts including pricing, commercial terms, shipping conditions, liquidated damages, warranties, and legal documentation.
