Team Lead, Platform Integrations

Job Overview

This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, optimal performance, and reliability of the bank's digital banking core systems. The Team Lead will oversee L2 and L3 support functions that act as a bridge between the Finacle Core Banking system and the newer service layers. The goal is to achieve uninterrupted operations through rapid incident management, thorough root cause analysis, and effective collaboration with the Finacle Core team to tackle complex integration challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the chief technical escalation contact for any integration-related issues with Finacle, working directly with the Core Banking team to resolve data inconsistencies, connectivity interruptions, and API failures.
• Lead management of high-impact production incidents, ensuring transparent communication and driving quick resolution efforts.
• Oversee system health by monitoring OpenShift platforms and related servers to ensure middleware services perform efficiently.
• Develop and implement advanced alerting and logging strategies using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, or Dynatrace to proactively flag and address system anomalies before they affect users.
• Maintain a mean time to resolution (MTTR) under 45 minutes for critical (Priority 1) integration incidents.
• Manage a 24/7 or global follow-the-sun support rotation guaranteeing adequate team coverage while supporting work-life balance.
• Ensure a greater than 98% success rate for all production environment patches and configuration changes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Advanced certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Sun Certified Java Developer (SCJP), Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Microsoft Certified Professional and Developer (MCP, MCSD) are advantageous.
• At least 7 years of comprehensive operational experience with Finacle Core Banking, including troubleshooting integrator components, batch job errors, and ISO8583/REST messaging protocols.
• Expertise in Java programming with strong debugging skills.
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting infrastructure automation with Terraform and Ansible, and monitoring message queues via Kafka or RabbitMQ.
