Team Lead - Food & Beverage Services

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts invites applicants for the position of Team Lead in Food and Beverage Services at their West Bay location in Doha, Qatar. This role focuses on fostering team collaboration to deliver exceptional guest service while ensuring operational tasks such as opening and closing duties are efficiently carried out. The position is full-time and requires physical involvement including movement and manual handling up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate food and beverage team members to provide exemplary guest experiences through cooperative efforts.
• Complete daily opening and closing responsibilities including setting up necessary items, cleaning areas and equipment, and securing the premises.
• Maintain cleanliness continuously throughout the workday by following clean-as-you-go protocols.
• Monitor dining areas for seating readiness, service quality, guest safety, and comfort.
• Manage maintenance needs by completing work orders and liaising with maintenance teams or contacting them directly for urgent issues.
• Report incidents or accidents involving employees, guests, or vendors promptly to management and Loss Prevention.
• Support management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and discipline of staff while serving as a positive role model.
• Adhere strictly to company safety and security policies; report unsafe conditions and complete mandatory safety training.
• Ensure professional appearance and uphold confidentiality and asset protection standards.
• Serve guests with warm welcomes, anticipate their needs, assist guests requiring special support, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate using clear, professional language and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
• Guarantee compliance with quality standards and expectations at all times.
• Perform physical activities including prolonged standing, sitting or walking, manipulating objects requiring hand-eye coordination, navigating confined or elevated areas, climbing stairs or ramps, and bending or twisting as part of job duties.
• Execute other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a food and beverage setting.
• No previous supervisory experience is necessary.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
