About the Role
Join one of the rapidly expanding Shopify retention agencies entrusted by leading brands for their customer loyalty strategies. At OKTOBER, our compact, focused team is dedicated to converting one-time buyers into repeated customers, and we're on the lookout for an individual who shares this passion. This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates based anywhere in Europe.
Primary Responsibilities
- Take full ownership (approximately 80%) of recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, and successfully hiring 6 or more new team members each month, spanning roles such as Relationship Management (RM), Design, among others.
- Support key People Operations tasks (around 10%), such as onboarding new hires and resolving daily employee inquiries to ensure smooth operational flow during rapid team expansion.
- Collaborate closely with the People & Culture (P&C) Lead (about 10%) on strategic initiatives including organizational structure implementations and designing people-centric processes to establish foundational HR frameworks.
Candidate Profile
- Proven, hands-on recruitment experience in agencies, startups, or fast-growing organizations where you have managed the entire hiring process rather than just coordination.
- An organized and process-driven individual capable of structuring an evolving environment without requiring extensive guidance.
- Strong business insight and the ability to embody and communicate OKTOBER's culture and standards throughout every candidate interaction.
Growth and Development
This role primarily emphasizes recruitment presently (around 80%), but it is designed for evolution. As our HR processes develop, you will expand your responsibilities to become a People Partner, leading strategic projects alongside the P&C Lead rather than merely supporting them.
