Key duties

• Deliver tailored support based on each individual’s needs
• Promote independence, self-care, and participation in the wider community

Requirements

• Minimum FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support, Social Care, or an equivalent qualification
• Good communication skills in English, along with IT, report writing, and planning ability
• A full, clean driving licence is required
• Ability to pass Garda Vetting
• Two professional references must be available
• Legal permission to work in Ireland; sponsorship is not available
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and best practice
• Ability to work well in a changing and dynamic setting

Accepted qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support
• Pre-Nursing Studies
• Professional Qualification in Teaching, excluding TEFL
• Family Support Practitioner qualification at minimum Level 6 NFQ
• Another nationally recognised qualification in social care, childcare, family support, or education

Compensation
