Role overview
An established M&E contractor in Mayo is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain function. This position involves leading procurement, coordinating logistics, managing suppliers, and keeping inventory under control to help deliver large engineering and construction projects successfully.
What the role includes
- Take responsibility for procurement activities across projects.
- Manage logistics planning and coordination.
- Build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Oversee stock levels and inventory control processes.
- Support the delivery of major engineering and construction work through strong supply chain management.
Experience and capability expected
- At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in construction or M&E.
- Hands-on experience in procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage contracts effectively.
- Commercial awareness with a focus on cost control.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing platforms.
