Role Overview
The Supply Chain Manager Assistant position is pivotal in managing key aspects of procurement, logistics, inventory control, supplier performance, and enhancing supply chain initiatives within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee supply chain operations including logistics, purchasing, and inventory to guarantee seamless operations.
- Analyze customer needs and demand projections, coordinating with business partners to secure uninterrupted supply.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and supervise procurement to ensure stock availability.
- Manage warehouse functions and overall material flow processes effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, logistics, and supply chain workflows.
- Handle supplier relationships encompassing sourcing, qualification, performance assessment, contract negotiations, and audits.
- Assess supplier performance based on delivery timeliness and quality standards.
- Explore sourcing possibilities, including international suppliers, and propose cost-saving measures.
- Assist purchasing activities supporting customer service teams.
- Engage in monthly operational output tracking and material planning sessions.
- Be available for overseas travel for supplier visits and audits when necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background with a diploma or equivalent in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
- At least 3 to 4 years of professional experience in industrial purchasing, supply chain management, or procurement roles.
- Strong skills in supplier management, negotiation tactics, and data analysis.
- Experience with sourcing strategies, procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
