Role Overview and Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance end-to-end supply chain processes, tools, and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support and refine inventory strategies that balance optimal stock levels while ensuring product availability.
  • Implement and optimize MRP and ERP systems for effective supply chain operations.
  • Manage the flow of materials internally, organize warehouse activities including kanban system oversight.
  • Supervise inventory accuracy, conduct stock counts, and control transaction processes within the warehouse.
  • Promote ongoing improvements in warehouse and shipping procedures.
  • Collaborate with Engineering for supplier selection and qualification, focusing on new products and local sourcing initiatives.
  • Assist in managing supply chain needs for prototyping and new product launches.
  • Handle obsolete parts management and prepare for end-of-life scenarios for components at risk of discontinuation or single sourcing.
  • Oversee outbound logistics strategy, including global shipments and import/export coordination with the Logistics Manager executing daily operations.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and guide logistics concerning export controls, dangerous goods, sanctions screening, and End-User Certificates.
  • Supervise handling of materials with high health and safety risks.

Performance Indicators

  • Manage stock-out rates, part availability, and kanban levels
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and value
  • Control freight costs effectively
  • Mitigate risks linked to end-of-life and single-source components

Candidate Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain management, focusing on inventory planning, warehouse management, and MRP/ERP system use.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in international shipping regulations including export controls, handling dangerous goods, and sanctions compliance is highly desirable.
  • Experience leading process improvements and working cross-functionally with Engineering and Operations teams.
  • Strong analytical aptitude for diagnosing supply chain issues and implementing sustainable solutions.
