Supply Chain Director

About the Role

NorrDia AB is hiring a Supply Chain Director to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations in a remote role based in the USA. This full-time position is responsible for shaping supply chain strategy, managing supplier and partner relationships, coordinating inventory and logistics, controlling costs, and driving process improvements that keep operations stable and support continued business growth.

Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, medical devices, consumer goods, or similar sectors is considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation and long-term planning of the supply chain function.
• Create and execute supply chain strategies that raise overall efficiency.
• Oversee supplier and partner networks to build a dependable supply base.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics activities.
• Build supply chain plans and guide their execution to meet business demand.
• Track and reduce operating costs while improving the use of resources.
• Review market conditions and supply trends, then adjust plans as needed.
• Work closely with procurement, operations, sales, and other internal teams.
• Design, refine, and maintain supply chain processes and systems.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.
• Handle additional related duties assigned by the company.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• More than 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations leadership.
• At least 5 years of experience managing teams.
• Strong understanding of supply chain workflows and operating systems.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational leadership skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to work independently, drive initiatives, and deliver results.
• Comfortable using office software and ERP platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Background in international supply chain management.
• Hands-on experience with supply chain optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
• Exposure to ERP systems and supply chain management tools.
• Strong supplier management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience working across departments and leading projects.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in team building, talent development, and performance management.
• Advanced data analysis ability and a mindset for continuous improvement.
