About the Role
The Supply Chain Associate at Novonesis plays a vital role in the Order-to-Invoice (O2I) process, ensuring efficient handle of customer orders, inventory checks, and problem resolution while adhering to company standards. This position supports order management, resolves backorders, handles customer inquiries, and drives process improvements to optimize supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer orders by verifying stock availability, and payment status using SAP.
- Address daily customer inquiries and complaints concerning purchase and sales order fulfillment.
- Identify order processing issues, troubleshoot, propose enhancements, and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies for seamless order handling and escalate risks affecting timely completion.
- Maintain precision of master data like Customer Master Data and Bill of Materials in SAP.
- Provide support for customer queries related to orders, shipments, invoices, and necessary documentation.
- Generate and analyze reports to monitor KPIs aiding management decisions.
- Assist with documentation control to promote operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with planners, customer service, and logistics teams to optimize material flow and minimize costs.
- Process customer billing through SAP promptly and ensure delivery documentation is accurate and available.
- Work cross-functionally to solve operational issues and engage in continuous process improvement projects.
- Support and mentor fellow associates and assist in onboarding new team members.
- Follow established Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Contribute support to the Front Desk CSR team to enhance customer experience.
- Be flexible in working shifts as required.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Have 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, customer service, order processing, or backorder handling.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset to identify inefficiencies.
- Proficient in SAP R/3 SD, CRM software, and Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experienced in communication and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing workloads under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in English.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
