Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

Moreflex Borrachas Ltda is looking for a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Texas, United States. This full-time onsite position involves supporting comprehensive supply chain functions including procurement, logistics, inventory control, and demand forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine supply chain datasets to discern patterns, pinpoint risks, and uncover avenues for enhancement.
• Keep track of inventory status, demand projections, and supply scheduling efforts.
• Assist in procurement operations along with logistics and distribution workflows.
• Create and update reports, performance dashboards, and key supply chain metrics.
• Collaborate closely with vendors, suppliers, and team members to ensure seamless processes.
• Detect issues causing supply chain delays and suggest ways to refine procedures.
• Contribute to demand planning and forecasting exercises.
• Assess supplier service quality and aid vendor management activities.
• Maintain data integrity throughout supply chain platforms and analytical tools.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
• 1 to 3 years professional experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, or a related data-analytical role.
• High proficiency in analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience utilizing reporting and visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and operational frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, alongside organizational aptitude.
• Adept at handling multiple tasks effectively in dynamic work settings.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalents.
• Familiarity with demand planning, forecasting tools, and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of SQL or similar database querying languages.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Background in manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce supply chain environments considered advantageous.
