Supply Chain Analyst

Job Overview

Insight Global seeks a detail-oriented and technologically adept Supply Chain Analyst to join a retail client's Intermodal Transportation team in Calgary, Alberta. This position is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension, requiring work onsite five days per week during night shifts on a rotating schedule of four nights followed by four days off.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and consolidate information to support weekly logistics reporting.
• Monitor delivery statuses and track Proof of Deliveries (PODs) efficiently.
• Serve as a communication point for coordination between the company and various carriers.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of one year experience in data entry and consolidating supply chain-related information.
• Strong computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet management and reporting duties.
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities to interact effectively with carriers.
• Familiarity with tracking deliveries and knowledge of POD documentation processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience or background in Transportation or Supply Chain sectors is advantageous.

• Employment is based on a 6-month contract with opportunity for renewal.
