Supply Chain Analyst

Role overview

This is a permanent, full-time position based on site in New Orleans, United States, within the Greater New Orleans Region. The business is a manufacturing company at an important point in its growth and is seeking a practical supply chain professional with strong analytics capability.

The ideal candidate will have worked in manufacturing or leasing and be confident turning large volumes of data into clear, actionable decisions. The role focuses on improving service levels, reducing costs, and supporting better planning through dashboards, forecasts, and data-led recommendations.

What you will be doing

You will build and maintain supply chain KPI dashboards, develop forecasting models, and use data analysis to support premium, evidence-based decisions. A key part of the role is identifying improvements that strengthen supply chain performance and deliver measurable operational gains.

Experience and knowledge needed

Applicants should bring at least 5 years of supply chain management experience in a manufacturing setting. Strong analytical ability is essential, including comfort with large datasets, model building in Excel or business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.

Hands-on experience with demand planning, inventory optimisation, and S&OP processes is required, along with a solid understanding of procurement, supplier management, and logistics. Experience using ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, or a similar manufacturing ERP is also expected. The role additionally calls for strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
