Role Overview

The Supervisor position based in Kingston is a full-time, on-site role focused on managing daily operations within a designated unit. The incumbent will ensure adherence to quality, safety, and legal standards while maintaining consistent production output. Responsibilities include organizing team shifts, overseeing workflows, troubleshooting operational challenges, and sustaining precise documentation and reporting. The role requires close collaboration across departments to drive process enhancements, support compliance audits, and practice Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Additionally, the Supervisor will mentor team members, provide training, and encourage an environment of continuous development and mutual respect.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven leadership and operational expertise in team supervision, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Deep understanding of quality assurance, GMP, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong safety management skills with emphasis on workplace safety adherence and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities facilitating effective cross-functional teamwork and reporting.
  • Analytical and problem-solving proficiency to detect issues, analyze data, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Educational credentials preferably including a diploma or degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or regulated quality operations is highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to be physically present at the Kingston facility, flexibility to work shifts, and capacity to manage a dynamic operational environment.
