About the Role
Uber Eats is revolutionizing access to food, groceries, and essential items by making delivery quicker, more intelligent, and tailored to individual preferences. As a member of the US & Canada Consumer Operations team, you will be pivotal in driving the growth, retention, and re-engagement of consumers through cutting-edge pricing and lifecycle strategies.
We seek a highly analytical and execution-driven leader to oversee our Lifecycle & Pricing vertical. This position lies at the crossroads of strategy, product development, and financial optimization, responsible for strategizing investment in consumer acquisition and re-acquisition to advance lifecycle progress while collaborating with Marketplace Technology to develop scalable pricing platforms.
This role requires close collaboration with senior executives and cross-functional partners in Product, Strategic Finance, Marketing/CRM, and Global teams to spearhead impactful initiatives promoting sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive lifecycle investment plans and optimize funding distribution across acquisition, retention, and resurrection efforts.
- Design, implement, and assess pricing experiments, iterating strategies based on data-driven performance insights.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to develop scalable systems enabling advanced pricing and lifecycle functionalities.
- Analyze consumer behavioral patterns such as activation, churn, and usage frequency to refine strategic approaches.
- Coordinate cross-functional and cross-line-of-business initiatives to ensure seamless execution.
- Lead and mentor the Lifecycle & Pricing team, nurturing a performance-oriented culture and driving career advancements.
- Oversee end-to-end lifecycle and acquisition strategies, including capital allocation optimization.
- Establish and execute pricing frameworks, partnering with Marketplace Technology to translate pricing innovations from concepts into production.
- Manage and advance the Net Eater Fee framework influencing pricing and investment choices.
- Drive cross-line-of-business collaborations with Mobility, Global, and Retail teams to align strategies.
- Ensure disciplined investment practices that achieve significant savings while enabling reinvestment in high-return growth opportunities.
- Implement robust performance measurement systems to monitor acquisition health, pricing effectiveness, and investment ROI.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to technical leadership for consumer growth and marketplace pricing development.
- Facilitate alignment among Product, Finance, Operations, and Marketing stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 6 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or analytically intensive roles.
- Minimum of one year leading a team or equivalent mentoring experience of junior members.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, profit & loss management, or capital allocation methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, business, or a technical field.

- Demonstrated success in guiding cross-functional projects from problem definition through execution.
- Strong analytical aptitude with fluency in SQL and spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent business judgment with the ability to translate data into clear, timely recommendations.
- Effective communication skills capable of aligning executive stakeholders and frontline teams.
- Proactive ownership and decisiveness in fast-moving, uncertain environments.
- Ability to balance detail-oriented tasks with strategic perspectives, ensuring operations align with broader objectives.
Additional Information
For candidates based in San Francisco, CA, the salary range is $162,000 to $180,000 annually. Equivalent salary ranges vary by location within the US, typically between $146,000 and $180,000. Employees in the US are eligible for bonus programs, equity awards, and participation in a 401(k) plan, plus a variety of benefits.
While collaboration is key, employees not working fully remotely are expected to be on-site at least 50% of the time. Certain roles require full-time presence in the office.
