Job description
Position Overview
The role involves managing the receipt and handling of merchandise within the facility located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, staging merchandise by department, labeling items for placement, and ensuring warehouse organization. The associate will also monitor inventory levels, maintain proper food safety standards, and manage storage areas for perishables.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept incoming deliveries and arrange merchandise according to departmental requirements.
- Label goods appropriately for storage and distribution within the facility.
- Stack materials on pallets or carts to facilitate transport.
- Complete inventory requisition documentation to track supplies.
- Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding low stock situations.
- Inspect deliveries for quality assurance — checking freshness, cleanliness, and consistency of items.
- Reject deliveries that contain damaged or incorrect goods.
- Comply with all food safety and handling protocols related to food storage and preparation areas.
- Organize and sanitize refrigeration units, food storage areas, floors, and equipment.
- Dispose of empty pallets, cardboard, and waste by placing them in designated storage locations.
- Report workplace injuries, accidents, and unsafe conditions to management immediately.
- Adhere strictly to corporate policies, maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality.
- Interact professionally with guests and colleagues, fostering teamwork and positive work environment.
- Meet quality assurance standards consistently.
- Physically capable of standing or walking for extended periods, lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds, maneuvering through tight or uneven spaces, and performing fine motor tasks.
- Perform any other reasonable assignments as directed by supervisors.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum education requirement: high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior work experience required.
- No supervisory experience or certifications necessary.
