Role Overview
This position focuses on administering Stonebranch Universal Automation Center (UAC) in an enterprise environment. The work involves keeping controllers and agents installed, configured, upgraded, and running reliably, along with supporting workflow automation across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, upgrade, and maintain Stonebranch UAC controllers and agents.
- Oversee the stability and ongoing health of the automation platform.
- Build, deploy, and track complex job schedules and orchestration flows that span different systems.
- Use scripting and Job-as-Code approaches to automate processes and manage dependencies.
- Create and maintain automation logic using Python, Shell, PowerShell, YAML, and JSON.
- Connect UAC with enterprise applications and platforms such as SAP, ServiceNow, and AWS.
- Investigate job failures, perform root-cause analysis, and tune performance for better reliability.
Technical Requirements
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows scripting environments.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and REST APIs.
- Ability to develop scripts in Python, Shell, and PowerShell.
- Experience implementing automation through YAML and JSON-based Job-as-Code practices.
- Capability to troubleshoot orchestration issues and support production automation workflows.
Additional Notes
Python scripting is listed as a good-to-have skill.
