Role Overview
This position is centered on building and overseeing department budgets, tracking actual expenditure, producing financial updates, and maintaining strong cost discipline across the year.
Experience and Background
Candidates should bring 4 years of advanced experience, ideally in budgeting, costing, or planning-related work within the oil and gas sector. Of that, at least 3 years should be in a commercial role connected to cost and planning.
Knowledge of SAP is preferred. Strong computer skills are expected, with practical experience using tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, and BI analytics software.
Education and Professional Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is required. Professional credentials such as CIMA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification are recommended. Advanced Professional Accounting, Cost Engineering, and Systems Analysis are also desirable.
