Specialist - Compliance

Overview

The Compliance Specialist plays a key role in supporting the execution of the compliance program by auditing policies and practices, identifying risks, and promoting awareness across departments and affiliates. This role ensures adherence to compliance standards and assists in resolving related concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the compliance program and help develop internal controls accordingly.
• Promote compliance awareness by maintaining ongoing communication and organizing training sessions when necessary.
• Contribute to refining the compliance program elements such as export control laws, employee code of conduct, and anti-corruption policies.
• Help draft, audit, and review company policies, procedures, and practices while reporting any identified risks or weaknesses.
• Participate in vendor audits and other designated audit activities.
• Monitor the implementation of updated processes including the onboarding of third parties and partners.
• Address company inquiries and conduct customer screenings using specialized third-party tools.
• Support investigations into compliance issues and formulate effective corrective action plans in response to any breaches or concerns.
• Maintain regular coordination with various departments to address compliance-related matters promptly.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Audit, Law, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a relevant compliance or audit role.
