Spa Reception Agent

Position Overview

The Spa Reception Agent will efficiently schedule and manage spa service appointments for individuals and groups using spa reservation software. Duties include confirming appointments, updating schedules, handling cancellations, and coordinating changes with spa providers under managerial guidance. The role requires greeting guests, verifying identity, and providing a general introduction to spa services upon arrival. Additionally, the agent will promote and sell spa services and handle financial transactions, including receiving payments, securing the cash bank, managing tips, and maintaining accurate records for accounting purposes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage spa and salon service bookings using reservation systems.
• Contact guests to confirm appointments and respond to service-related inquiries.
• Update and monitor daily schedules, inform providers of last-minute changes, and work with supervisors to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Check in guests, verify their details, and offer an orientation to spa amenities.
• Promote spa and salon offerings and handle payment processes securely.
• Maintain the financial bank, ensuring accurate cash handling and timely deposit of receipts.
• Report maintenance issues to Engineering and promptly address safety concerns by notifying management.
• Adhere to company policies, present a professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and uphold asset protection.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, assist guests including those with disabilities, and foster positive workplace relationships.
• Comply with quality assurance standards and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 10 pounds.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of related work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No certification or licensing necessary.
