Role Overview

The Solutions Engineering team supports the sales division which currently emphasizes product-led growth, where many clients start with self-service. As interest grows in how Notion integrates with existing technologies and supports complex implementations, your expertise will become essential in technical customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with sales teams to engage with prospective and current clients.
• Provide precise and prompt responses to advanced product inquiries, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and security questionnaires.
• Offer expert technical advice during the sales cycle to facilitate fast and effective Notion deployment and integration.
• Demonstrate tailor-made Notion solutions aligned with clients' workflows and integrated applications as part of pre-sales efforts.
• Collect and structure product feedback to assist Product and Engineering teams in enhancing Notion.
• Partner with marketing teams to refine technical messaging including content like blogs, webinars, and collateral aimed at customers.
• Deliver education sessions to sales teams regarding product features, upcoming updates, competitive landscape, and client environments involving third-party applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and internal knowledge bases to support teams, clients, and partners.

• Act as trusted technical advisor for customers, enabling them to adapt Notion according to their unique business requirements and explore innovative use cases.
• Influence Notion’s product development and messaging by sharing insights gathered through customer interactions.
• Help establish the foundation and growth of the Solutions Engineering function and regional team.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
• Strong understanding of APIs and their use in enabling complex customer workflows.
• Experience integrating with third-party systems for identity and access management, data loss prevention, or security information and event management.
• Proven track record of managing and completing complex projects successfully.
• Demonstrated growth mindset with the ability to thrive in a startup or emerging team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt quickly within a fast-evolving business and technology landscape.
• Fluency in French is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Experience as an early employee in a fast-growth startup environment.
• Familiarity with using Notion as a product.
• Basic coding skills to write scripts utilizing the Notion API.
• Knowledge of designing and working with relational databases.

Compensation and Equal Opportunity

Notion offers competitive remuneration including base salary, equity, and benefits. Expected total target earnings for this position range between €119,000 and €133,000 annually, varying based on location, role scope, and candidate qualifications.
