Role Overview

This part-time remote opportunity at Call alle 18 involves being a Software Quality Assurance Tester responsible for planning, executing, and documenting both manual and automated tests for web and software applications. You will assess requirements and specifications, craft test cases, run test scenarios, and detect defects to ensure the software operates as intended.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and cases based on requirements and specifications.
• Conduct manual and automated tests to validate application functionality.
• Identify, record, and monitor software defects through defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and confirm defect fixes.
• Re-test resolved issues to verify quality and stability before releases.
• Maintain thorough test documentation and provide constructive feedback aimed at continuous software improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in software quality assurance practices ensuring reliable and compliant software releases.
• Hands-on experience in designing, executing, and documenting manual and automated testing.
• Strong analytical capabilities for dissecting requirements, recognizing potential risks, and troubleshooting defects effectively.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools along with agile or scrum methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey technical details to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt within a part-time remote work setup.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance or practical QA/testing work experience is advantageous.
