About the Role

Join Nike as a Software Engineer contractor with an impactful role contributing to its diverse digital product portfolio. This position allows you to work primarily onsite Monday through Thursday, splitting time between Beaverton, OR, and Boston, MA. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain both consumer-centric features and internal tools across various digital products.
• Write well-structured, testable code focusing on full-stack or backend systems with Python, TypeScript, and React.
• Design and deploy scalable distributed systems and APIs capable of handling millions of requests.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and improve infrastructure resilience using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services.
• Engage in peer code reviews, contribute to technical designs, and collaborate on engineering decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in software engineering, varying by level.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or React, with preference for expertise in multiple of these technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
• Familiarity managing CI/CD pipelines involving Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in working with distributed systems or microservices architectures.
• Additional advantages include AWS certification or experience with AI/ML tooling.
