Our Advertising Platforms team empowers seamless access to compelling content worldwide, supporting publishers and developers in promoting and monetizing their creations. We power advertising in Apple News and Search Ads in the App Store with highly scalable, performance-focused platforms that prioritize user privacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate distributed, scalable services that perform at scale.
- Innovate by creating the appropriate tools and metrics to drive platform and feature success.
- Identify and resolve issues with attention to quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate constructively with teammates and cross-geographic partners to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Engage in problem-solving, tackle complex technical challenges, and stay informed of emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 6 years of professional experience developing solutions with strong expertise in Java and the Spring framework.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Robust understanding of both frontend and backend technologies and practical experience in the software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI in development or creating AI-based tools.
- Knowledge of distributed systems principles.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
- Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as ReactJS.
- Prior exposure to the advertising domain is advantageous.
