Role overview
CareConex is seeking a Social Care Worker for a children’s residential service in County Laois, delivered under contract with Tusla. The role is based in Portlaoise and involves supporting children and young people in a caring, stable, and development-focused environment.
Key duties
- Provide day-to-day care and emotional encouragement to children and young people in the service.
- Serve as a keyworker and carry out individual care plans and placement plans.
- Take part in Child in Care Reviews and represent the child’s needs and interests.
- Support education, overall wellbeing, and the development of positive life skills.

Requirements
