Position Overview

The Site Security Specialist will be embedded at one of our prominent global client locations in Gurugram, India, focusing on the execution of physical security protocols to maintain a secure workplace aligned with the client's operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Embody Pinkerton's core principles of integrity, vigilance, and excellence in all activities.
• Support onsite physical security measures to safeguard the working environment.
• Contribute to assessing, developing, and implementing security strategies at the regional level.
• Deploy site-specific security plans, risk and threat analyses, and awareness training in partnership with law enforcement agencies.
• Facilitate internal regional communications regarding security matters.
• Collaborate with government bodies, consular offices, and private sectors to bolster security operations.
• Provide assistance to the Regional Security Manager on contingency planning and risk assessment, maintaining a cohesive network across business units.
• Support intelligence operations aimed at countering serious security threats and managing emergencies.
• Participate in the Building Emergency Reaction Readiness Program alongside key stakeholders.
• Assist with regional strategic relocation planning and work to preserve local business infrastructure via strategic objectives.
• Maintain effective communication channels between business sectors, teams, and vendors.
• Conduct vendor review sessions to ensure premium service delivery standards.
• Lead and manage all on-site security personnel and daily operations to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Help advance internal and external service efficiency.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies in line with policies.
• Provide operational support during crises under the direction of the Regional Security Manager.
• Serve as the initial global security representative as per established protocols.
• Oversee access control systems, troubleshoot security technology, and manage access cards.
• Coordinate security for internal and external events.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of five years in corporate security operations.
• Ability to work autonomously with little supervision.
• Proficient written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and organize workloads effectively.
• Client-focused with a strong results orientation.
• Ability to engage effectively across different organizational levels and cultures.
• Strong prioritization and adaptability skills as situations evolve.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Working Conditions
