About the Team
We are a team focused on artificial intelligence-driven search and recommendation systems, developing scalable and innovative products for users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the stability and normal functioning of core systems within the Viking Team, which support Big Data and online service operations, emphasizing capacity planning and system stability.
- Increase system transparency by monitoring availability and performance metrics, enabling rapid fault identification by development teams, particularly ensuring stable operations of critical components like AI search and vector databases.
- Enhance service reliability, scalability, and optimize performance to meet established core system SLAs.
- Participate in designing and implementing an automation platform that allows fast iterations and effective operation and maintenance of extensive Viking and AI search clusters.
- Deeply optimize service governance based on AI Search/Viking business usage scenarios, including analyzing performance bottlenecks in vital parts, troubleshooting, promoting system architecture upgrades for high availability, with preference for those familiar with Viking-related technologies to join core optimization efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a computer-related discipline with over five years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong foundation in software concepts and understanding of Linux OS principles, storage, and network I/O.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Java, Shell, or Ansible, with a focus on operational excellence and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, Volcano Engine, Aliyun, or GCP; experience with distributed computing systems such as Nginx, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, Hadoop, Spark, or Flink is preferred.
Preferred Expertise
- Strong algorithmic thinking, data structure knowledge, and system design capabilities.
- Familiarity with AI cloud technologies, large model-based search suggestions, and recommender systems.
