Site Manager

Role Overview

We have an opening for a motivated and skilled project site manager to join our Contracting Services team. This role involves overseeing site projects that encompass supply, design, and installation of Adbri Masonry's product assortment. Based at our Stapylton Masonry plant on the Gold Coast, you will report directly to the Queensland State Manager - Contracting Services.

Our compact team includes project site managers and engineers operating across Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales. Your expertise will help expand Adbri Masonry's market share by guaranteeing our products and services meet client standards and contractual commitments.

This varied position provides construction supervision and site project management for retaining wall and pavement installations. It offers a competitive salary package, a company vehicle, all necessary tools, opportunities for development, and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial site inspections before project start.
• Manage daily project activities including coordination with subcontractors, tracking material deliveries, and budgeting.
• Foster strong client relationships throughout projects.
• Prepare quotes and estimates for projects.
• Ensure product delivery and installation align with client expectations.
• Identify and vet local subcontractors to assist with installation.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety and company policies.
• Provide training to subcontractors on product knowledge, optimal construction practices, and safety standards.
• Promote Adbri Masonry products and supply technical assistance.
• Contribute ideas to enhance products and operational processes.

Qualifications and Skills Needed

• Between four and five years of experience in project site management roles.
• Background in landscaping, masonry, or the construction sector.
• Proven knowledge of landscape products and how they are installed.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a widely dispersed team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build bonds with colleagues and clients.
• Dedicated to maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Experience or interest in participating in sales efforts.
• Willingness to travel within Queensland and interstate to client locations.
