Site Engineer

Overview

We seek a skilled Site Engineer to oversee comprehensive execution of upscale commercial office interior projects in Gurgaon. The role demands proficiency in corporate fit-outs, managing subcontractors, ensuring quality control, vendor handling, verifying measurements, billing processes, compliance to safety standards, and compiling daily reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute commercial office interior projects from initiation through to final handover.
• Supervise works across civil, electrical, HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing, false ceiling, and finishing activities.
• Confirm accuracy of contractor measurements before processing bills.
• Liaise effectively with architects, consultants, vendors, and facility management teams.
• Oversee labor productivity and coordinate subcontractors.
• Maintain project quality in accordance with design drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
• Verify material receipts and monitor inventory levels.
• Address and resolve site conflicts among various service elements.
• Maintain project timelines to meet milestone targets.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and site cleanliness.
• Participate in client and consultant meetings to facilitate communication.
• Coordinate necessary inspections and facilitate approvals.

Required Expertise

• Experience in commercial interior fit-outs.
• Proficient in civil site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
• Skills in Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity verification.
• Experience in billing coordination and vendor management.
• Competency in managing labor and inspecting materials.
• Strong quality control and project coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of HVAC and fire fighting coordination.
• Familiarity with false ceiling works and flooring/painting activities.
• Proficient in MS Excel and daily progress reporting.
