Shipping and Materials Handling Operator

Position Overview

CathX Medical, a Zeus Company located in Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland, is seeking a diligent Shipping and Materials Handling Operator to join their team. This full-time role requires working onsite and includes responsibilities related to managing inventory, preparing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting operational communication between departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Place materials into inventory for future order fulfillment.
• Clearly document detailed information on inventory forms and enter data accurately into computer systems.
• Utilize computer systems to verify material availability, print labels, and execute shipments efficiently.
• Clean and package materials appropriately for storage or shipment to customers.
• Maintain effective communication and responsiveness to Sales and Production departments' requirements.
• Organize and keep the raw materials and inventory storage areas tidy and well-ordered.
• Manage reclaim storage with proper segregation and prepare items for shipment accordingly.
• Ensure that all materials are packaged properly to guarantee safe delivery to their destinations.
• Follow detailed written instructions from customer orders and product labels precisely.
• Verify that quantities are accurate and correspond with packing slips and material certifications.
• Complete all necessary export documentation when required.
• Weigh packages using shipping scales and complete all carrier-related paperwork.
• Assist with unloading incoming materials from trucks.
• Maintain accurate, legible written records to support traceability.
• Keep the workplace clean and organized.
• Ensure job-specific tooling and machinery within the department are maintained in good working order.
• May be required to operate a company vehicle as part of the role.

Working Hours

The position operates either on the evening shift (4 PM to midnight) or the night shift (midnight to 8 AM), Monday through Friday.
