Shift Leader

Overview

As a Shift Leader at Panda Restaurant Group, you play a vital leadership role in bringing the company's mission to life by supporting management to deliver passionate food, heartfelt service, and prideful ambiance within the restaurant. This position is central to the dynamic, fast-paced, and growth-driven environment of our store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a lively and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
• Assist with managing daily store operations and lead the team through the shift.
• Engage hands-on in preparing and cooking Panda’s signature dishes for customers.
• Develop a broad set of skills for personal growth and to foster team development.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education equivalent to some high school coursework.
• Preferable to have experience in operational roles.
• Food Handler certification or other local food safety certifications are required at the employee's expense.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Work involves standing for extended periods and operating in hot, steamy, and noisy kitchen conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and reach across counter heights of 36 inches.
• Must work efficiently in a fast-paced, often restricted workspace, using kitchen tools including Chinese cook knives.
• Effective communication skills and adaptability to changing priorities and conflict resolution are essential.
