Role Overview

We are seeking a Service Operator who will ensure all vending machines are fully stocked and hygienically maintained, guaranteeing optimal sales performance across their assigned route. This position involves traveling to multiple client locations daily, replenishing and cleaning coffee and vending machines, and acting as a courteous and professional point of contact for clients during visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain vending machines by filling and cleaning them in accordance with company standards.
  • Perform stock management and cash audits for machines and company vehicles.
  • Resolve minor machine issues such as cup jams or blocked mixing bowls and escalate faults to the Service Desk.
  • Promptly report any accidents, unfit food products, or customer complaints to the Area Manager or Service Desk on the same day.
  • Provide training and upskilling support to new team members to maintain service quality.
  • Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality inspections on Retail Merchandiser machines as directed, sharing relevant findings with the Retail Merchandiser and Area Manager.
  • Report any machines below hygiene standards set by the Automatic Vending Association to the Area Manager.
  • Travel to client sites primarily using a company van or public transportation where necessary.
