Role Overview

As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting installers and customers technically by providing troubleshooting assistance via phone or digital platforms. You will facilitate commissioning both remotely and onsite, coordinate logistics for inverter dispatch and collection, and help onboard and manage new service partners. Collaboration with international and local teams will be key to efficiently resolving customer issues. Documenting cases thoroughly in CRM software, delivering training sessions, continuously seeking product and process improvements, and collecting customer feedback to enhance after-sales service are integral duties.

Qualifications and Skills

Certified electrician with emphasis on photovoltaic technology, renewable energy, or a related discipline
Fluency in German combined with business-level proficiency in English
Comprehensive understanding of technical aspects concerning photovoltaic systems, energy storage, and EV chargers, including specifications, grid codes, competitive landscape, and tender requirements in distribution or utility-scale sectors
Ability to work independently and remain focused in a fast-evolving environment
Previous experience in the photovoltaic industry is advantageous but not mandatory
